The Presto! DVD PowerSuite is a serious item to have. It is a
complete, (and I emphasize "complete"), video, music, and data
burning solution for home DVD's or CD's. Now check this out.. It
doesn't matter if you are using a DVD+/-R/RW, DVD-RAM Writer, DVD
Videos, +VR, VCD, SVCD, formats, it still works. In addition to
that, how about it also covering AC3, MP2, or LPCM format for the
audio side of things. I could go on all day about the various
features of this power packed suite of software, but let's move on to

A Product That
Just Can't Be Beat
Simplicity is the name of the game today and the problem with most
software suites such as this, is that in order to have simplicity,
companies often sometimes sacrifice quality.
You simply cannot beat such a package which is suited to virtually
anyone for home use.
This is where this product shines! Every single part of the
PowerSuite I reviewed was absolutely incredible! This was
especially true with the editing capabilities for audio/video.
Unique Is The Word On The
Presto! DVD PowerSuite!
This product is so unique from
most others. Now what really made it stand out from all the others is
the packaging! yes, you read that right, the packaging! Unlike everyone else who
provide the usual cheap plastic holders for their CD's and flimsy
manuals that most people probably will never even look at, the folks
at NewSoft have gone over the top!
With Presto! DVD PowerSuite
you get a hard cover book of sorts. When I first opened the
package for review, I thought to myself, "Who in their right mind
is going to publish a book of this size and expect newbie users to
read it?". To my surprise this so called "book" was an
ingenious new concept. When you first look at the "book" you
expect when you open it to see around 400+ pages. Well, in
actuality, when you open the book, you see a magnificent full color
semi-gloss presentation of the product suite with full color
illustrations, etc! The first page is thick like stiff cardboard but
with a most ingenious purpose. When you move to the next page,
here's the CD with all of the software you need, attached quite
conveniently for easy removal and re-placement right on the page!
As you continue on, there are
six more two-sided pages, just as any book would have, that each have
a neat little pocket to hold your various CD compilations you will
soon begin to create with the PowerSuite!
Once you get past the CD
holding pages, you now have a manual for the product suite which is
roughly 35-40 pages. Simple, easy to read, and without question,
not redundant. The manual for the Presto! DVD PowerSuite is full of
visual illustrations that make it so much easier to understand.
Seeing an illustration of what you see on the screen so you make
comparisons, etc. it helps you retain the information so much more
effectively. Kudos to the creators of this manual for such an
imaginative approach.
A Perfect Example
To come to a close with this review I decided to provide a perfect
example that you can reflect upon to appreciate the true value of this
software suite.
I recently did a review on
Universal Studios Hollywood where I created a short little video clip.
The problem I encountered was that the background noise was destroying
the music portion of the video. With the Presto! DVD PowerSuite
I was able to take that video clip and clean it up so the sound was
incredible! The software was so simple, so easy to understand
and master. I have reviewed a number of software suites similar
to this but none have been so dynamic in simplicity, consistency of
quality across the board, quality, and best of all price.

and after weighing out all the various factors
