PIN
Policy #31(b).1 - Independent Reporting Status
Positive
Image News, (PIN), will at no time be partnered with or
sponsored by any trade show organization, unless there
is a formal agreement of PIN remaining independent and
the trade show organization having no jurisdiction or
influence in regard to the choice of content or manner
in which it is presented in PIN. 100% unbiased
review of all products and services on the show floor
must be maintained.
PIN
Policy #31(b).2 - Sponsors
PIN will
be sponsored only by companies which have products or
services which have been reviewed by PIN and are used by
PIN in it's operations and/or formally endorses. This
will ensure consistency with PIN Policy #31(b).1.
PIN
Policy #31(b).3 - Product Endorsement
No product shall be endorsed by
PIN unless it has passed the PIN 5 point analysis. It
must rate "4" or better to be formally endorsed by PIN.
Any product or service evaluated which is less than "4"
in rating will not have it's review published and the
manufacturer of the product will be sent the review and
outline of what is required to bring the product/service
to a level which will pass our evaluation.
PIN
Policy #31(b).4 - Solicitation of Exhibitors
PIN will
be in contact with show floor exhibitors prior to, during,
and following a trade show in accordance with all
regulations set forth by the trade show company at which
they exhibit. Solicitation of exhibitors for any PIN
service, or any service provided by PIN's parent company
or subsidiaries must also be approved by the trade show
company and proof of approval must be in writing to
provide legal verification upon query.
PIN
Policy #31(b).5 - PIN Staff Trade Show Priority
PIN staff
must remember that the #1 priority of PIN staff at a
trade show is to provide added value to the trade show.
By serving the exhibitors to the best of our ability and
in accordance with all regulations set forth by the
trade show company for the media, the exhibitors find
greater value in the trade show. By exhibitors
signing for the following year with a trade show partly
due to our actions, the trade show company will benefit
and the results will be beneficial to PIN.
PIN
Policy #31(b).5.ss(a) - Press Events | Solicitation of
Exhibitors
Press
events such as press parties and related events are same
as trade show events; PIN staff
are subject to all protocols set by the host company of
the event. Press events are a very volatile environment where
maximum damage can occur to PIN integrity if protocols
set by the hosting company are violated.
Solicitation in any manner of exhibitors at any press
event is grounds for immediate termination. NO
EXCEPTION! PIN staff are guests of the hosting
company and are expected to produce results that will
make the exhibiting companies participation fruitful.
PIN
Policy #31(b).5.ss(b) - Press Events |
Responsibilities
PIN staff are expected to visit every table at a press
event and provide productive copy for a minimum of 4
products being featured at the event. If you
have any questions in regard to any communication with
exhibitors at a press event, you are expected to
contact someone in charge at the event for
clarification. If a sample of the product is
needed for evaluation, contact the exhibiting
company's PR/Marketing rep and request their business
card. Requests for products for evaluation will
be done following the event via email.
PIN
Policy #31(b).6 - PIN Staff Policy | #31b Violation
PIN staff
are subject to immediate termination without option to
appeal upon violation of any portion of PIN Policy #31b.
Trade show events are a very volatile environment where
maximum damage can occur to PIN integrity. Violation of
any portion of PIN Policy #31b could cause irreparable
damage to PIN as a company. Based upon this fact
it is agreed by all staff that immediate termination is
agreed in such case and no option for appeal will be
made available. |
