The New Yorker

Although an older building, the quality of service at this suite hotel, is immeasurable.

The Best Is Not Always Known..

The New Yorker is a hotel that is in a class all it's own. NYC is all too well known for overpriced hotels and it's cultural diversity, but there are always those special places that are the best ever, yet simply not known. The New Yorker is one of them. The very best of service, accomodations, and enjoyment at a more affordable price for everyone.

From the moment you walk in the doors of the New Yorker, you are already feeling the relaxing atmosphere causing to feel at home and secure.

Comfort and Plenty of Space

The image above is a perfect example. It is from one of the Tower Suites available at The New Yorker. $350, $400 per night?.....NOT! The average cost for a Tower Suite at the very top of the hotel is well within the $200-300 range. Of course demand and availability have major influence in what you are going to pay. Perched high above Manhattan on the top three floors these superior rooms and suites are specifically designed and equipped for the traveler who requires more space and amenities, values serenity and marvels at amazing views of this magnificent city. To add to this, unlike many other major chain hotels, you have WiFi Internet connection at no charge in the Tower Suites! There's always the economy rooms or middle level rooms to select from but the Tower Suites provide the most bang for the buck.

Knowing You Matter...

As Robert Carvajal, Assistant Front Office Manager put it, "It is the goal of our hotel to provide quality, service, and comfort that simply can not be found anywhere else."

Mr. Carvajal was quite evident from his actions, that the customers he serves are to be treated with the same level of importance and appreciation as he holds for his own family. Kudos to Mr. Carvajal.

The bellman staff were another fine example of the difference at The New Yorker. Unlike many other hotels where the bellmen literally stand there waiting for a tip, these men are dedicated to serving the needs of others. They have adopted the idea of if you are expecting a tip and don't get it, you let your own self down. If you just do your job to the best of your ability, the rewards come on their own. Mr. Omar Herrera, the bellman who assisted me, went out of his way to assist me in my checking in. Mr. Herrera even stopped me from doing certain tasks out of reason of concern I might hurt myself. Now that is quality service!

In Closing ....

While I have focused primarily on the Tower Suites in this review, the rest of the rooms offered are just as important. Might I suggest you visit the New Yorker web site at: http://www.nyhotel.com. This way you can discover for yourself an immense amount of additional information and features of this prestigious hotel and while you are at it, why not reserve a room?
