Portable Cell Phone Charging With The TC2
Are you ready for an entirely new dimension in portable cell phone charging? Well, the TC2 Turbo Charger is the what you have been looking for for those awkward situations.
To be more specific, the TB550 ( aka TC2 ) Power Charger, is a portable, reusable cell phone/PDA charger that uses what the manufacturer refers to as "Dual Algor Chip Technology" to charge cell phones without overcharging or damaging them.
Putting The TB550 ( aka TC2 ) Power Charger To The Test
While some product reviewers have made claims of the TC2 working, yet not providing a true full charge, we wanted to put the TC2 through our own testing evaluations. As everyone knows, we verify and validate that a product will in fact do what is claimed.
In a period of 90 days repetitive testing with multiple models and brands of cell phones/PDA's, there were absolutely no irregularities in our findings. All devices were from Verizon. Our results are as follows;
- AUDIOVOX XV6800 SMART PHONE - A full charge was made and repeated twice with each set of two AA Batteries. The TC2 was used 10 times for recharge of the PDA with no irregularities.
- BLACKBERRY PEARL 8130 SMART PHONE - A full charge was made and repeated three times with each set of two AA Batteries. The TC2 was used 10 times for recharge of the PDA with no irregularities.
- Samsung SCH-u340 - A full charge was made and repeated three times with each set of two AA Batteries. The TC2 was used 10 times for recharge of the cell phone with no irregularities.
- Motorola RAZR V3m with Extended Battery - A full charge was made and repeated twice with each set of two AA Batteries. The TC2 was used 10 times for recharge of the cell phone with no irregularities.
- Motorola MOTORAZR maxx Ve with Extended Battery - A full charge was made and repeated twice with each set of two AA Batteries. The TC2 was used 10 times for recharge of the cell phone with no irregularities.
- LG Voyager™ - A full charge was made and repeated twice with each set of two AA Batteries. The TC2 was used 10 times for recharge of the cell phone with no irregularities.
- LG VX8700 - A full charge was made and repeated three times with each set of two AA Batteries. The TC2 was used 10 times for recharge of the cell phone with no irregularities.
Throughout the entire testing process, there were absolutely no irregularities of any kind that showed. The equipment was all tested in various climates as well as states, yet still retained consistency. A full charge was achieved with every test made on all phones/PDA's.
A More Detailed Look At The The TC2
The Turbo Charge TB550 ( TC2 ), is produced by Voxred International, LLC. The beauty of the little device is not only the easy charging capability, but the fact that it is so simple and quick to implement its use. Insert a pair of AA batteries into the charger, connect the appropriate charging cable, and switch the device on. You cannot get much more simple than that!
When the TC2 is first plugged into a device, you will see three blue dots on its level indicator. As the device the TC2 is attached to is charging, the blue dots will go out progressively until all three dots are out. When you see the last dot finally turn off, disconnect the charger.
A SPECIAL FEATURE
A very special feature of this battery charger is an emergency flashlight! Yes, you read that right, and emergency LED flashlight. The charger has two bright white LED's mounted on the top of the charger. They are not the most spectacular in the area of coverage, but sure can be of use with those unexpected needs for immediate light in a small area.
Consumers Say It Like It Is
One thing you can always depend upon is how consumers say it like it is. When we took the TC2, along with a number of other products to a local public mall for consumers to do a hands-on evaluation, we really got a strong and favorable response.
What was amusing in this instance was that the women were more fascinated with the "...cute flashlight" than the fact of the portable cell phone charger capability! The men on the other hand were prompt and direct in pointing out the "...unique device for charging cell phones." It was rather entertaining to see the vast difference in response from men and women.
In our consumer product evaluation feedback forms, we discovered that all of the people who agreed to participate had nothing but favorable responses in their feedback forms as well as queries as to where they can buy it. It is clear to see that the TC2 is a shining success with consumers.
A Look At The Individual Category Ratings

DESIGN QUALITY: Rating Level 5 - The TC2 is designed with simplistic and ergonomic design. Nothing but the best in the quality of design in all factors of the TC2. No shortcuts with cheap and ineffective materials. The TC2 pulls a perfect score in this category with a rating of 5.
DURABILITY: Rating Level 5 - When it comes to durability, the TC2 really came through well. We ran it through our own unique testing devices that will shake, rattle, and push a device to the limits in structural integrity, yet the TC2 came through with a perfect score in this category.
INNOVATION LEVEL: Rating Level 4 - When it comes to innovation level, the TC2 scored well above average. The idea of a double lens LED flashlight combined with a reusable cell-phone/PDA charger was without question innovative but at the same time, there are many other similar products on the market as well. This caused the TC2 to fall short of a perfect score in this category by a single digit.
MARKETING VALUE: Rating Level 5 - The marketing value of the TC2 is a perfect score but just by a hairline. The TC2 provides a monumental use for consumers and is quite popular as has already been proven in our evaluation. However, the fact of many other competitive products on the market made the perfect scoring in this category being accomplished by a hairline. In this category, the TC2 pulled a perfect score.
SIMPLICITY: Rating Level 5 - Simplicity is what the real name of this product surely could be. It is so simple even a complete imbecile could easily use it with the simple on/off switch which the TC2 makes use of for charging or use of the flashlight. The TC2 pulls a perfect score in this category.
USEFULNESS: Rating Level 4 - When it comes to usefulness, what could possibly more easily defined. No matter who the person is, every one has need of a cell phone, or flashlight at some time in life and the TC2 delivers what is needed, when it is needed most! Being adaptable to be used in an unlimited number of practical applications, the TC2 rises to the top in this category with a perfect score of "5".
VISUAL APPEAL: Rating Level 4 - When it comes to visual appeal, the TC2 is just above average. The TC2 has a very nice design which is visually appealing but just not enough to really pull a WOW! out of a consumer. The TC2 fell short of a perfect score in this category by a single digit.
