Shake,
rattle, and roll...Just imagine eight absolutely alluring and
glamorous professional female dancers as they shake, rattle,
and roll with a magnificent soundtrack that will rock anyone's
world. While immersed in their performance of some seriously
diverse and simply sizzling choreography, these girls deliver
a presentation of immeasurable creativity and entertainment.
According to a majority of the audience who were in attendance,
"X" is without question a performance
that has not only brought the true entertainment of Cabaret
back into reality, but has taken the established concept of
the Cabaret and built upon it to create a new dimension
of quality and enjoyment.
A powerful
presentation...
|
 |
"A powerful
presentation" is a humble definition of the
overall performance presented by these girls who have
truly put the true definition of "ShowGirl" back in it's
proper place. Each
skit of the show is delivered with a presence of power,
establishing a new atmosphere within and around the
audience as well as the stage. It seems to draw the people
in the audience into the performance, as though they are
part of the show itself.
As you can obviously see from the photo to the
left, each individual in the show, strives to push their talents to the very
limits. They work with every part of their being to provide a
professional form of entertainment that has been long forgotten by many.
If you carefully look at the majority of shows in Las Vegas today, you will
quickly notice how each the actions of the participants is so redundant.
A forced smile, no personal expression, just doing their job. A perfect
example of this is "Le Femme", the show that is running at the MGM Hotel and
Casino. Although the choreography and music are of above average level,
the movement of the ShowGirls is simply a repeat of a repeat and boring. |
|
A dominant error in other shows...
A dominant error in other shows throughout the
globe, not just in Las Vegas is lack of change and expression. Let's get to the
cold hard facts. "Jublilee", the pride of Bally's Hotel and Casino
is a perfect example of incredible potential lost in redundancy. The
choreography is magnificent, costumes superb, but what kind of value is there in
a show that has been functioning for over 20 years with no change? In
interviewing people who have paid to see this show, a consistent opinion has
held true with most of those who were queried. When you have such a
massive number of women baring their breasts in a show such as this, the erotic
uniqueness which is being attempted to be conveyed as was once a common factor in a
Cabaret performance, has somehow been lost. In reality, you simply see a performance
that will never change, always being the same with nothing unique, lacking the
diversity to catch the attention of the audience as the "X" Girls manage to
accomplish.
Unique, innovative, and from the heart...
While so many other ShowGirls in "other" shows, run through the paces with no
real emotion or pride, simply following instructions given, you will note in
the photos below, how the ShowGirls in "X", each have their own special
uniqueness, yet remain consistent as a whole in their performance.
In interviewing the "X" Girls following the show,
it was clearly evident that they take pride in their performance.
Unique, innovative, and from the heart is the
primary focus of what these girls seek to convey in their talent. This is
what several of these girls expressed in the interview. One girl in
particular, expressed as several others did as well, how being a ShowGirl in "X" is unlike other shows the girls have performed in across the
globe previously. As she expressed it, "They were shows where you
are instructed to act as one, show no
individuality, and keep your opinions to yourself." No room for any
originality or style, suppressing the abilities of a ShowGirl to show her full
skills. "ShowGirls are not simply dancers, they are dancers and actresses as
well combined into one." "They provide a level of entertainment
that a person who is simply a dancer or an actress, simply cannot achieve."
|
A compilation of talent like no other...
"X" is without question a
compilation of talent like no other that not only brings the Cabaret
concept back into reality but rather takes it to a completely new level
unlike no other. Evolution of a show is an absolute if you are going
to even begin to compete in the world of entertainment. Constant
vigil to create and evolve a show to newer heights is mandatory or your
show will simply become as so many others, boring and redundant. The
older shows who are so well established in Las Vegas have their loyal
attendees, but this is only because of the lack of innovative new
entertainment to be able to enjoy. The "X" Girls have broken that
trend and provided a new and enjoyable show that will take some serious
effort to even come close to matching. It's like comparing a
Volkswagen to a Cadillac; you can settle for a show like "La Femme" or "Jubillee"
or you can step up and enjoy a truly unique experience you will not be
soon to forget, like "X". |

The creators of "X"...
 |
Now there are plenty of
producers and directors, but none like the producer and director of "X",
an Angel-Like Productions presentation.
An innovative and creative pair of people who have been in the
entertainment industry and know the ropes all too well.
The gentleman is Bobby Boling, the
co-producer, director, and creator
of "X". A talented professional in the entertainment industry, it was his
dream to take the quality once enjoyed of the Cabaret and bring it to a
new dimension in entertainment. He obviously did just that with the
production of "X".
His associate, Angela Sampras, is the
co-producer for "X" and is quite skilled in working
to bring "X" to the incredible level of
success it has reached today. Angela is a former ShowGirl and knows
the ins and outs of being in this line of entertainment. |
Together, Bobby and
Angela have worked to create a most incredible and erotic adventure now
recognized as "X". They work together as a team to bring
back the top professional quality which used to be a normal part of
entertainment in Las Vegas and bring it back in such a way it will cause
people to start using their imaginations once again rather than having
everything drawn out before them in a presentation. With
"X",
the audience leaves with a hunger for more
rather than a simple "good show" and forgot the following week what they
even saw in the show.
"X" causes people to remember, use their
imaginations once again, recapturing their creativity and sharing their
experience of
"X" with countless others.
"X" has set the pace for the others
to follow. The question now is just how long before the rest of the
show directors and producers catch on and begin to mimic the magnificent
talent delivered by the
"X" Girls, Bobby and Angela.
The course is inevitable and those who read this review and/or see the
show will have the comfort of knowing they were the first to witness this
new evolution of entertainment.
