While I was in the press room at COMDEX I overheard a conversaton by some persons in reference to a company they felt was rather foolish by even considering being a part of COMDEX. They saw it as that this show was for IT Enterprise and in their opinion this particular company had no place there. This caused me to investigate why they would make such a fuss about such an insignificant thing. 

Looking Beyond What You See

It is our normal behavior to make judgements on the first glance of an object, product, or even exhibitor's booth.  Thsi is just our nature.  The problem with this though is that we all too often miss out on important opportuntities that if we had only taken the time to look more carefully, we would have seen the true value of what we were looking at.  Such is the case here.

Upon my own first glance at the exhibitor in question, I saw nothing that really caused me to think the booth did not fit, until I saw the product they were promoting..."PARENTAL INTERNET CONTROL KEY".  Now I could see how the gentlemen made their assumption. It appears the gentlemen simply glanced at the booth, saw the product title and simply "assumed" the product did not fit the criteria needed to be considered an IT enterprise tool.

In actuality, a person could not be further from the truth.  Security is a primary concern in the IT enterprise industry.  That's a given in itself.  In reviewing the product, we all were quick disocover that although the "title" did not fit well with IT industry issues, the product proved to be one of the very best in securing your computer via a USB port.
